Hi Everyone,
I have just written a report in Crystal Reports, and am attempting to implement the 'link arrow' as explained on page 26 of the document below -
http://www.pioneerb1.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/How-to-work-with-Crystal-Reports-8.8.pdf
I have performed configuration inside Crystal as explained on pg. 26, with my formula looking like this -
When I run my report and click on any one of the many link arrows I am seeing the same A/R Credit Memo open in all instances.
Interestingly all of the Credit Memos in my report actually start with 26, but are in the tens of thousands, e.g.: 26589.
During my experimentation (trying to get this to work) I did rename 'key' in the Formula Editor to 'DocNum', this resulted in a browser opening, and I was interested to note that the number part of the address had a comma.
I figured that Crystal may be adding a comma, and this is the reason why my linking isn't working. Towards this end I modified my DocNum field style in Crystal to that shown below -
Notice above that I removed the 'Thousand Separator' and ensured that my field did not contain leading zeros.
Unfortunately even with the format above the link arrows are not working in my report.
If anybody has any suggestions concerning how I can get this going please share.
Kind Regards,
David
